Sullivan Buerger, LMFT

Sullivan believes therapy is brave and important work.  Her hope is that as clients learn to connect to their inner world, having curiosity and compassion for their unique story, they will be able to connect more deeply with others and have more confidence in their choices to live authentically.  Her therapeutic approach is attachment based, emotionally focused, and influenced by Internal Family Systems therapy, narrative and existential theories.

Before becoming a therapist, Sullivan volunteered and worked in the nonprofit sector for 12 years in Alabama and Southern California, immersed in relationships with adolescents, young adults, and families. Outside of the therapy space, Sullivan enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, hiking/camping, and exploring new cities.
