Meg believes everyone has a unique and beautiful story to tell. Holding space for pain, hope, and healing, Meg helps people uncover and connect with their truest selves. Meg's therapeutic approach is rooted in family systems theory and is combined with the Spiritual Root System.
Meg joined Sage Hill in August 2020 as an intern. She is studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. Before pursuing a career in therapy, Meg has worked in the non-profit sector and in youth ministry.
Meg lives in Nashville with her husband Cole. When not in the therapy room, you can find her cooking dinner with friends, out on a run, or spending time with family.

About Your Practice
In college, I began my own journey with counseling and I discovered the possibility of authentic and intimate relationships. During the same time, my career plans shifted and I realized I wanted to go deeper with others and bring more empathy to my work.
Who has influenced your work?
Frederick Buechner, Brennan Manning, Esther Perel, Bessel van der Kolk, and John and Julie Gottman.
How does your faith play itself out in your work?
It is the lens of woundedness, loving compassion, and restoration from which I view the world.
Like a lot of millennials, I love indie rock and pop. Currently, my favorite artist is Maggie Rogers.
Which TV show would you never miss?
Parks and Rec, Queer Eye, The Great British Bake Off - most anything if it is loving and funny.
What's your favorite book or author?
East of Eden by John Steinbeck, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Alphabet of Grace by Frederick Buechner.
What is your favorite sport/physical activity?
I love to run. My family also loves to ride bikes and hike.
What's your favorite place to visit?
Just for Fun
Mowing lawns in my neighborhood.
What is your most treasured possession?
Heirloom jewelry - my grandma Lydia's wedding band and my grandma Mary Jane's gold chain.
If you have friends coming over, what would you cook?
Anything that feeds a crowd: pasta, big bowl salad, roast chicken, soup, and bread!
What pastimes or hobbies do you enjoy?
I love to bake. Currently working on getting sourdough figured out.
